Наочність для уроку в 3-му класі за темою School Subjects

Ось такі матеріали я розробила для свого уроку з теми "Мій улюблений шкільний предмет" у 3-му класі. Перший аркуш спрямований на закріплення правопису нових слів. Його можна подати в ігровій формі, ніби вчитель начаклував так, щоб усі літери переплуталися.

Другий аркуш - це лексична опора для учнів, яка дає змогу краще запам'ятати, а також з легкістю повторити нові слова. Крім того, яскраві малюнки сприяють кращому запам'ятовуванню.

Аркуш 3 і 4 можна використовувати у якості підстановчої таблиці для удосконалення діалогічного і мономологічного мовлення учнів. Крім того, третій аркуш доцільно використати у якості опори для пісні. Ось чудовий приклад з YouTube.

Everyone writes

We live in the age of the IT and social media. When any photo can say more than a thousand words, who really wants to write anymore? Anyway, writing is now more important than ever. You write every day. Whether typing out an email, commenting on a blog or posting on Facebook, Twitter. That is why we need to be carefully how we use words or create paragraphs.

On the one hand, all of us can write, on the other, the result of our writing is not always as good as we want. Therefore, we need some kind of guidance how to make a good writing. First at all, you should have the specific goal for you text. Just ask yourself who will read your writing and how to make your text interesting for the readers.

The most important part of any writing is how it starts. Mess this up. There is a small chance your reader will read on. So, the structure of paragraphs takes a great part in it. The first sentence or paragraph shapes the first impression the reader will get off your text. Do not make them boring makes them engagement. Additional information is useful, but most of the time it is used to make a long introductory paragraph. The problem is the reader does not appreciate this; they just want to get to the point as quickly as they can.

How long should be a paragraph? There is not a single answer. It should be as long as it needs for your idea description. The text is some kind of a necklace, and the paragraphs are the beads. They should be stringed one by one. Do not let them mess! The previous paragraph has to flow into the next like the river of your thoughts.

Left brain/right brain theory

The main principle of the left brain, right brain theory is "each side of the brain controls different types of human thinking". If we know the brain dominance, we can plan activities according to it. Left brain dominance requires analytical and sequential work to do whereas right one requires art, music and creativity. As teachers, we should balance both in our plans ans lessons so the students make a progress in their non-dominant brain as well.

Nowadays this theory is outdated. “It’s absolutely true that some brain functions occur in one or the other side of the brain. Language tends to be on the left, attention more on the right. But people don’t tend to have a stronger left- or right-sided brain network. It seems to be determined more connection by connection," explained the Dr. Jeff Anderson.

Our brain is system and left and right hemisphere are interrelated. So I think we should provide the whole brain learning. A simple example is usual flashcards. Make it with bright pictures, add the word and use this flashcard for wall-dictation. Also, I try to create some kind of a formula for the teaching grammar rules. For example, these are my formulas for used to. They are colourful and logical. What can be better for our brains? :)

5 хвилин на уроці англійської мови

1. Іменники та прикметники (дієслова і прислівники) - скласти словосполучення.

2. Асоціації - створити асоціативний ряд до певного слова.

3. Бінго на класній дошці – вчитель записує 10-15 слів, учні виписують до заошита з переліку 5-7 слів на вибір, далі принцип гри той самий: слово, яке назвали, закреслюється. 

4. Створити кущ із слів (wordmap), можна скористатися сервісом Answer Garden

5.Розподілити слова по категорія
